IS GOD GREATER THAN HUMANITY?

When I thought of writing about this topic in a blog my spine went chilling and the adrenaline kept rushing inside me. I just kept on thinking about these things for a while. Is it necessary for me to write about it? Shouldn't I just focus on the things I'm supposed to do? Wouldn't my mind be more at ease if I write on new innovations in technology? I kept asking these types of questions millions of times. But what pushed me to go on is that I feeling perpetrated by the deaths & pains of so many innocent lives every day. However I could control my anger & atrocity but the thoughts in my mind wouldn't let the feelings in my heart to be in peace.

It's not just about any religion or worshipping a god; it's not about the number of times we visit prayer halls; it's not about the duration we spend in worshipping each day; it's not about the donations we make. It's about how better we are leading our life without hurting others and letting them live. Be it Hinduism, Islam, Christianity or any of the hundreds of religions for that matter nowhere the God says to worship him. Maybe the holy books say to follow the religion, worship the God but he never wrote them; we did. Following a religion or being religious is just an identity for every individual. Maybe we do not introduce ourselves with our religion but our names do. However atheist may one can be, he cannot escape from his name which reveals his identity of the religion. Everything seems perfect in a normal situation but when a communal violence erupts; when lives are lost; we blame others and maybe we blame ourselves. This is when one thinks his religion is superior; his god is powerful and fights to make a mark. While fighting; while killing or hurting others; while lives are being lost one don't understand is that their so called powerful God won't come to their rescue or won't save their lives. And thus the 'humanity' lost the battle again in the name of God.

The reason we have to ask ourselves this question is 'are we really blindfolded in the name of God and religion?' Some people are atheists who never believe in God but they always believe in themselves who maybe called self proclaimed Gods. Are they greater than the other humanbeings or are they greater than humanity wherein they take themselves for granted. The lives of the people around us is always precious as much as our life is to us. It's not that only whom we know or the ones who are greater in position to us deserve respect. Everyone around us; the people who are in lower positions to us who work in restaurants; who work in our homes; who work in the streets also deserve the same respect. Because they have thier own individuality; own identity and their own cause for being on this earth. Everyone is here to prosper their lives but not at the cost of others' happiness; others' lives. The cause for humanity is always greater than any individual or the creator of individuals, GOD.

It is said that there are like 33 crore Gods according to Hindu myhtology and the number keeps increasing. As if the number is low people especially from villages create new Gods for their own convenience trying to please them in every possible way. Some of them kill cattle or some even kill children and some of them kill themselves for that God they have never seen. What they do not understand is God is in every form of life even in themselves. This is what the Hitler and Nazis never realised. They killed approximately 6 million Jews of the 8 million who were living in Europe at that point of time. Excluding this 6 million the death toll by the Nazi Germany is estimated to be around 20 million people which includes Romanians, Slavs, homosexuals, mentally ill among others. If the Hitler wasn't stopped, probably he might have brought an end to the human race. There are various theories for the holocaust of Jews by Nazi Germany but that can never justify the killings. It was not just the war against Jews but the war against humanity.

Throughout the history we have learnt even the greatest of emperors like Ashoka, Alexander the Great realised that the humanity has a greater deed and cause but not at the cost of war, killings and deaths. Everyday we wake upto the news of honor killings where the people kill their own kids and the terror attacks where lives are lost of their own country men and their own religion and community. We need to analyse ourselves as there can be no religion greater than the religion of humanity. Everyday we realise that the cause for humanity is being lost and indeed humanitarianism is being lost. Either a mosque might be built or a temple in Ayodhya but not at the cost of human lives. Some people in both communities are eager to die in fullfilling this quest but will it be worth to kill a God in oneself to establish him behind the concrete walls; locked doors and the sealed souls? Is it out of real divinity or just for the sake of prestige? Perhaps we are more busy in just branding and polishing the GOD instead of letting the divinity fill our souls.

LOVE

Hmmm.. Here comes the day of gifts & chocolates.. A day which symbolizes RED and wherein the color itself represents danger & blood. Is it just a sheer coincidence? Or is it like a thin line as in between war and peace?
HATE U!!! This is the next best line a girl tells a guy when she's angry or upset with him.. So Love & Hate are inseparable as it is also pretty much similar fate with War & Peace.
Keeping these philosophies and analogies aside it's a fun rather funny to be single on this 'V' Day, a day represented with my fave letter of English alphabet as my name also starts with 'V'.

"Hey, u didn't find me a girl this time also." I was teasing a girl who's my friend for few years now. She as always getting into a pensive mood said "Love cannot be fixed or arranged; it just happens. Wait until that happens to u then u will know the true feel of it blah blah.." She kept going on with those true love expressions which one can find in greatest of the love story books n novels. And as always I would just smile away without intruding her rhythm of Ved Vakyas. I thought at least she is lucky enough to get accompanied with the love of her life on this day. Anyway I have let my parents decide the Love of my Life as of now ( till i find one).

I hav seen frens getting dumped; getting engaged again; going almost to the brink of true love and then finding themselves gazing at the horizon.. 'LOVE' which is such a simple word creates so much complications leaving us in a state of murky & obscureness. The one who's sweet & sexy initially transforms into bossy & fishy within days, weeks or months.. er.. well that depends on the individuals. It's so easy to say someone that he/she has changed without considering ourselves how much our thinking has changed in that course of time.. Or we can say that Love being transferred from Heart to Mind..

These thoughts never come to halt as I feel distressed; disturbed & distracted with this kind of Love.. I could go on & on which may be turned into volumes of books. I don't know how my Love life turns out to be.. But i feel lucky enough to know such a person who found his Love at first sight at the age of 19 & being committed wit her for 7 years is getting married this year. I'm proud of having such a friend. And I dedicate all my posts to him & his love on this day.

Hats off Love!!!

BLOGGED IN

Just when the clock was ticking, friends were snoring, door was creaking & the mosquitoes were tuning in, I kept these keys pressing in...
Thinking & processing those thoughts which rush in at a pace more than the velocity of light and only some of them lucky enough to find a place in this blog, I continued to find keys in this lighter display of laptop..
Secretly admiring & thanking that person who made me to start this blog & who's ever inspiring me to write more, I kept my fingers rolling on the keys..
When there's a feel in the thoughts & a touch with those feelings makes me to go on & on..

And It's Just a Beginning!!!

Welcome to FIUME DI PENSIERO, a river of thoughts..
